A growing trend in companies around the world is the incorporation of environmental considerations into business practices. Today, companies are continually looking for ways to implement green initiatives into their travel management programs.

Travel and Transport has made a considerable effort to help improve the environment in which we all live, work and travel. In addition to our own initiatives of recycling, minimizing paper use and conserving energy whenever possible, we have taken a leadership role in helping our customers to track their environmental issues.

With Travel and Transport's proprietary ecoTTek Green Reporting, we have the ability to show companies their carbon footprint and the impact it has on the environment. Our client-focused reports provide the data needed to suggest aircraft and hotel chains with low emission rates to companies promoting an environmental policy.

Staying Environmentally Friendly

Our Meeting Trends division has also embraced green initiatives with key staff serving as members of the Green Meeting Industry Council, which enables our company to stay on the forefront of this growing trend. We continually work to educate our meeting planners, our clients, and our vendors on tactics that can be taken to be more environmentally friendly throughout all stages of the incentive process. This includes everything from green destination and venue selection, to working with vendors to purchase locally produced food and supplies.
